Who we are

We started Exceptional Eats with two missions in mind: to offer authentic, from scratch food and to serve the community as a supported employment ally. When you come here, you know the food is going to be great. When you're deciding on a place to eat, great food is absolutely the number one priority. We roast our meats using our own recipes, our vegetables are fresh and our bread is from a local baker. Our home cooked meals are perfect for nights when you would really just let someone else handle it. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or the big game-our dishes are delicious.

Exceptional Eats can even come to your office and cater; from subs to grill cheese fresh from the griddle with tomato and bacon or short rib French toast on demand. Face it your employees don't want a pizza party. They deserve something different.

Exceptional Eats was named for the people who make us great. We strive to be a supported employment ally, by offering jobs to those of all abilities. We believe that every person deserves, and is owed a chance at fulfillment and independence by showing what they can do in the workplace and earning their own living. We have been privileged to work among this community of people at a local Richmond non-profit, and can attest that the skills these people can bring are nothing short of dynamite. Now, we want to showcase those skills to our customers.
